ABOUT Rovier Surgical Suites
Rovier Surgical Suites is a surgical centre which has at its core a state-of-the-art main operating theatre with a minor operating theatre for less complex cases. Both theatres are equipped for a wide range of procedures, from minimally invasive to open surgeries. While our emphasis is on ambulatory and short stay surgeries, we are equipped to care for patients requiring admission for non-surgical management. Consultant physicians spanning a range of medical and surgical specialties use our facility to provide efficient and effective care for their patients. Our aim is that our patients have a safe, seamless and relatively stress-free surgical experience in a pleasant and friendly setting.
Our Mission
We at RSS recognize that private medical care is an integral part of the health landscape. Our mission is to provide a safe, friendly and well-equipped facility for highly qualified surgical and medical specialists to care for their patients. Our focus is on minimally invasive procedures and ambulatory surgery, allowing patients to return to their normal activity in the quickest possible time. From preoperative preparation, through admission and surgery to post operative monitoring and discharge, a team of dedicated health care professionals assures that the patient remains the focus of our attention.
MEET OUR STAFF
George Roberts
Dr. George Roberts is an Ear, Nose, Throat and Head and Neck Surgeon. He has trained and worked throughout the Caribbean, US, and UK and has earned many honors, including a special citation from the Caribbean Association of Otolaryngologists for his contribution to ENT education and practice in the Caribbean region.
Gwendolyn Fevrier-Roberts
Dr. Gwendolyn Fevrier- Roberts is an Obstetrician/Gynaecologist who trained and worked in Jamaica, Trinidad, and the United Kingdom before settling in Antigua and Barbuda in 1989.
Nicole Roberts
Dr. Nicole Roberts is an Antiguan Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She trained and worked in the United States, achieving Board Certification and becoming a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, prior to her return to Antigua.
Joan Semple
Nurse Joan Semple has been a trained operating theatre nurse and a certified midwife for many years. A previous Nursing Unit Manager at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, she brings her experience and skill to the management of Rovier Surgical Suites.
